CutPrintShip Terms & Conditions

CutPrintShip is a registered DBA (Doing Business As) of PrisMetal, LLC. All references to "CutPrintShip" in these Terms and throughout our website shall be understood to refer to PrisMetal, LLC operating under the CutPrintShip brand.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the CutPrintShip website, services, and any transactions made with us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By creating an account or placing an order, you affirm that you meet this age requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information and for all activity that occurs under your account. CutPrintShip is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

2. Services Provided

CutPrintShip provides custom, on-demand manufacturing services including laser cutting, UV printing, engraving, and optional finishing services such as bending, powder coating, and anodizing. These services are delivered based on designs submitted by the customer and produced using the materials and specifications selected during ordering.

3. Ordering and Payments

  • Orders must be placed through our website or an approved platform.
  • Full payment is required prior to production unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • All prices are subject to change based on material costs and market conditions.
  • Quotes are valid for 14 calendar days.
  • Coupons or discounts must be valid and applied at the time of purchase.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, material unavailability, or design policy violations.

4. File Submissions & Design Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and viability of any design file submitted.
  • By submitting a file, you represent and warrant that you own the rights or have the necessary permissions to use the design.
  • You grant CutPrintShip a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your files solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
  • CutPrintShip may refuse any order containing illegal, offensive, or infringing content.

5. Design Policy

Designs submitted must:

  • Not infringe on intellectual property or trademark rights
  • Not contain obscene, abusive, or harmful content
  • Not be designed or intended for use as a weapon or illegal device
  • Not violate any local, state, or federal laws CutPrintShip reserves the right to reject or cancel any design at its sole discretion.

6. Production and Delivery

  • Turnaround times are estimates only and not guaranteed.
  • CutPrintShip is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, supply chain issues, or force majeure events.
  • Risk of loss and title pass to the customer upon delivery to the carrier.

7. Returns and Refunds

  • All products are custom made; therefore, all sales are final.
  • Refunds or reprints are only provided in cases of verified production error or defective materials.
  • Claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with supporting documentation.
  • No returns are accepted without prior approval.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

  • You retain all rights to your original designs.
  • By submitting a design, you agree that it may be stored for repeat orders or internal reference unless deletion is requested.
  • CutPrintShip retains all rights to the website content, branding, and proprietary tools or interfaces.

9. Material Disclaimer

CutPrintShip sources raw materials from third-party suppliers and does not independently verify material certifications. We do not guarantee specific mechanical, structural, or chemical properties of any materials used in production. It is your responsibility to ensure the suitability of materials for your intended application.

10. Feedback License

If you submit any suggestions, feedback, ideas, or improvement requests to CutPrintShip, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into our services or operations without further compensation to you.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

All services and products are provided “AS IS” without any express or implied warranties. CutPrintShip disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that products will meet your expectations, function as intended in your use case, or be suitable for structural or mission-critical applications.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CutPrintShip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CutPrintShip and its affiliates, directors, employees, and service providers from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use or misuse of our services
  • Any design file or content submitted by you
  • Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

14. Force Majeure

CutPrintShip is not liable for any delay or failure in performance due to events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, labor disputes, supply shortages, or governmental actions.
